Our Samoa hotel guide aims to help you find the right accommodation for your holidays by offering for free the largest collection of independently taken photographs of Samoa hotels from all around the country. We have personally visited all hotels in Apia, around Upolu and in Savaii and have selected what we consider the best Samoa hotels in all price categories from upmarket resorts to simple beach fales. These are presented in both a hotels directory as well as in a handy location map (see below) so you know exactly where the property is situated. All hotel pages offer detailed independent reviews, pictures of all individual room categories, retail prices, specials and an instant booking facility.

Our Hotel Guide

Western Samoa hotels are concentrated in the capital town of Apia on Upolu Island. Here you'll find the legendary Aggie Grey's and several other large hotels but no beach. Apia makes a good base for exploring Upolu Island which can be circumnavigated in a full day. There are also a handful of small beach resorts around the island which make pleasant holiday bases including several budget traditional beach fales. Savaii is even less developped for tourism and has just a handful of simple beach fales aroujnd the island and three boutique beach resorts around the main tourist centre of Manase Beach.

American Samoa has only a handful of places to stay and these are almost entirely focused on business travellers. There are no beach resorts per say, but visiting American Samoa is about exploring the natural beauty of the islands on a self drive holiday, so the convenient business hotels are just as handy for tourists.
